Environmental Health plays a vital role in ensuring that the prerequisites of health are being protected and looming risks being mitigated appropriately within emergencies. Recent trends including the current geopolitical dynamics, which have caused catastrophic losses, raise the need to explore new strategies/tools to expect the unexpected as early as possible. Typical Emergency-Risk-Management strategies have been in-sufficing in identifying new emerging unknown catastrophic enablers in advance. Based on insightful findings from literature and recent catastrophes, and using Cleden research, this presentation will explore and highlight the Known Known/Unknown and Unknown Knowns/Unknowns risks to ‘Environmental Health in Practice’.
