Abstract: The Food Atlas has been developed to map, measure and monitor food access across Western Australia (WA). The WA Food Atlas is designed to meet the needs of professionals in food policy, public health, environmental health and planning roles. The prototype digital tool visualises and quantifies the presence and location of all food businesses in metropolitan Perth. It offers comprehensive geospatial temporal food access metrics and interactive maps, providing Local Governments and State Government with objective evidence to inform public health policies. It is currently being trialled in WA and evidence-based insights from this trial will be presented.
