I originally graduated from Curtin University and worked in Local Government as an Environmental Health Officer with primary interests in food, infectious diseases, and health promotion before moving into the private sector in 2003 to work with a large certifying company and consulting firm. In 2006 I formed my company Food Risk Management and focused on the development, implementation and management of food safety management systems tailored to individual client requirements based on legislative and certified programs. This included IMS and ISO 22000 systems. In 2023 I decided that I would like to go back to study, specifically researching some patterns I had been seeing during my time in industry.
