Melinda (Mel) has been an Environmental Health Officer for 25 years, currently sitting in a leadership role with the Metro South Public Health Unit. She has specialised in waste management, vector control and disaster management across metropolitan, regional and remote areas including having spent time working in First Nations communities. She is passionate about Environmental Health and how the profession collaborates with other public health specialties and is an advocate for strengthening the system to support the next generation of leaders in Public and Environmental Health.
