Jorge Honles is a medical doctor and epidemiologist. He is currently a PhD candidate for a degree in cancer epidemiology at the University of Toulouse (UPS). Since 2019, he has been involved in environmental pollution and human health research programs in Peru. He is among the pioneers in investigating the environmental risk dynamics of pesticide pollution and its possible relation to cancer rates in the Andean-Amazonian regions using geospatial and artificial intelligence methods.
