My field of expertise is food hygiene with the special research interest in food handlers impact on food safety. I work closely with other experts in the field to develop practical solutions that can be implemented in our communities. I am currently working as an assistant professor at University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Health Sciences. I am one of the teachers for at the courses "Hygiene of Premises and Processes", "Food Safety and Technology", "Good practices in food suply chain", "Sampling mehods" and "Trends in environmental health". I am a member of IAFP and EUPHA. I also represent Faculty of Health Sciences as an academic member at IFEH where a served as honorary education liaison officer in 2017-19.
