Lindsay is a Registered Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner (CIEH) and a member of THE Institute of Environmental Health (IOA). She is currently the Course Director for the BSc (Hons) Environmental Health course at Ulster University.
Lindsay worked in several local authorities in Northern Ireland as an Environmental Health Officer and then as a Senior Environmental Health Officer before moving to academia in 2010. Her teaching, research and academic enterprise focuses on Housing, Noise, and Regulation and Enforcement.
