Cherie has worked in the Environmental Health profession for over 25 years. Starting her career in local government at Redland City in Southeast Queensland before moving to the north of the State to work with the Environmental Protection Agency in Cairns where she enjoyed working in remote areas such the Torres Strait Islands and Far North Queensland regional communities. She has since worked with Brisbane City Council and back to Redland City Council in Environmental Health regulation, enforcement, local laws and policy as well as having experience in Corporate Governance, and Executive Officer Roles. This year she joined Logan City Council as the Environmental Health and Immunisation Program Leader.
