From 2019 to the present, I've been a Scientific Officer at the Department of Health's Environmental Health Directorate. Here, I provide technical guidance on wastewater, drinking water, biosolids, and recycled water issues to various stakeholders. I also manage applications related to these environmental concerns.
In my previous role as a Scientific Officer from 2014 to 2019 within the same directorate, I specialized in medical entomology, overseeing the sentinel chicken program for arbovirus surveillance in Western Australia. My responsibilities included conducting field surveys, managing disease databases, and providing training to new staff.
Before joining the Department of Health, I gained diverse experience in research and academia from 2013 to 2007.
