Dr Claire Pulker is Senior Research Fellow in the Food Environments team at the Nutrition and Health Innovation Research Institute, ECU, in Western Australia. She also leads obesity prevention strategy implementation at a Perth metropolitan health service, as the Principal Public Health Nutritionist. She is a public health nutritionist with over 30 years’ professional experience gained in Australia and the UK. Claire has worked at the WA Department of Health contributing public health nutrition expertise to food regulatory affairs. Her PhD explored the power of Australian supermarkets and their influence over public health. Her current research aims to objectively assess food environments to inform policy interventions.
