Governments are facing ever-tightening financial constraints, with the community demanding the same or more services for a lower price. Preventative health programs delivered by Environmental Health professionals are often invisible when done well, which makes securing growth funding to keep pace with the service delivery demands of growing populations a challenge. Instead of repeating the time-worn mantra of "more staff" how do we instead look to technology, transformative service delivery models, and re-imagining how we best use our workforce to solve these challenges?
